I Have a Dream,
Martin Luther King, Jr.
Thise site is dedicated to Martin Luther King, Jr. and was open January 20, 2003 on Martin Luther King Day
It all started in a church. One of the most influential movements in American history didn't start on a bus or the streets of Alabama as many are taught in secular education. But instead it was inspired by the words of God.
The Great Babtist Minister Martin Luther King, Jr. whom served as co-pastor with his father, Martin Luther King, Sr., at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta from 1960 until his death. Founded in 1886, Ebenezer served as both a ministerial training ground for King, Jr. and his "second home," with family connections to the church extending back nearly to its founding. During the 1950's Doctor King Jr. was called upon by other ministers in the region to help lead the civil rights movement and correct what was clearly an unjustice of segregation and discrimination in the region and the nation.
